“I have had hip joint pain for several years, to the point of having to quit doing several of my office and house cleaning jobs. I did not want to go the way of surgery, so I had put off going to the doctor for several months. Then I found out that I could get P. T. without a Dr’s referral. I found out that Chesterton P. T. is locally owned & operated, as I try to keep my business local in as many areas as I can. The kind & very happy receptionist Simone, won me over during my inquiry phone call. I found out through the knowledgeable Teju that I had poor abdominal strength and I had been using my posture to lessen my hip pain, but it was actually putting the joint in a compromised position , which really added to the pain & the problem. I also had an issue that I had no idea could be helped through P. T.; abdominal muscle separation from child bearing. I was taught to stand with better posture, taught core strengthening exercises and given deep tissue laser therapy. I was surprised at how much the stretches & exercises strengthened my core, bcs they were simple; yet doing them properly is the key. Before, I was doing exercises that were making my joint hurt more, & spreading my abdominal separation. I went from a #5 pain scale (& sometimes a#8), down to a #1/2. I am very pleased with the results. Chesterton P. T., is about 1/2 the cost of Franciscan P. T. , which was a huge bonus.”

I sought therapy with CPT, as I had good results with them before. At CPT, I worked with various therapists, but ultimately “G” was in charge of my progress. He did an excellent job finding the specific causes of my trouble, and progressively addressing it. We began with lots of stretching and range of motion exercises, moving on to strengthening and training specific motions. G was very creative and resourceful in creating a program that not only addressed my shoulder, but the supporting muscles and my overall fitness.”

Am currently being treated for a pulled abductor muscle in the top of my leg. After 7 days the pain was intense. After only 2 visits the pain was almost gone. “I started here due to my shoulder pain the first time and then there was some improvement. I went to the doctor for an MRI to find out that I had to have a very extensive shoulder surgery due to a stroke I had a year ago. I had fallen on it and damaged it. After surgery I had a choice to go where I wanted for therapy and I chose to come back to here. They are so great and good with how they do their therapy rather than any other places I’ve been to. The first time I ever found out about this place was due to my daughter who found out through her doctor. I went from not being able to use my arm or shoulder to being able to do everything I needed and wanted to do with it. After surgery I thought I would never be able to get full range of motion back again. I’ve gotten the greatest kind of treatment here and I will never go anywhere else no matter what. This is not like any other therapy place. They work with many parts of the body and are very helpful and knowledgeable with their healing treatments. I would recommend them to anyone with any problems small or big! They are all great here and really take their time with you. They work together to get you the help you need to get you healthier and on your way in life.”

They’re currently duking it out with my insurance company because the insurance company wants to cut me off. They’re going above and beyond what is required of them as a provider. Dimple and Chandra, the owners, are just amazing. Amelia at the front desk is always pleasant and just feels like a friend. I’ve done physical therapy in the past, many places just stick you in a corner and tell you to do some exercises and then call it a day. This is not like that at all.
